Why good grief?

Re: Apostolics of Grant Parish/ Br. Lane Creech
I see some have a problem with teaching that women should not cut their hair. 1 Cor. 11:6...but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. I find it hard to believe some of you would rather twist 1cor 11 to mean anything other than what is clearly stated.

You know...I just noticed something...Paul said,"IF it be a shame..."
So is Paul giving instruction to be covered only if its a shame in that culture?
He doesnt say,"Since its a shame" he says "IF it be a shame."
So, what if cut hair is no longer a shame anymore?
Are women directed to obey this only as long as cut hair is shameful?
Just reading whats there guys...I have no dog in this fight.

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
(1 Corinthians 11:5-6) In verse 5 he says an uncovered woman dishonours her head (brings shame). He says it is the same as if she was shaven. Therefore, it is a shame for a woman to be shaven. He then says "for if the woman be not covered then let her also be shorn." And then he says "but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered."
He first establishes that being uncovered is a shame, and that being uncovered is the same as being shaven, and then that if the woman isn't going to be covered, she might as well be shorn, and then concludes "if that's a shame, then let her be covered."
So he establishes that being uncovered = shorn or shaven, and that uncovered = shame/dishonour, and therefore be covered. Which in turn means it is in fact a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, just as it is a shame for a woman to be uncovered.

I don’t believe in the uncut hair doctrine. But I’ll never understand why liberated women get butch cuts.

So, whats the worst sin? A woman cutting her hair or worhipping it?

Sin is the transgression of the law.

Re: Apostolics of Grant Parish/ Br. Lane Creech
There are 3 things I can guarantee you. They have been proven over and over again. Spiritual laws given by God.
1. Your sin will find you out.
2. If you don’t tithe, you will be cursed.
3. You will reap what you sow.
