So I guess since the general consensus is that there is no scripture condoning this teaching, but almost every post has had a BUT in it. But I live in the south... BUT in our community they would be ridiculed... BUT BUT BUT. How about we make a choice, right now and today, to change our households to not ridicule, ostracize, alienate people who are racially blind, then all the BUTs will disappear. How about we stand against the hatred that is spoken in our presence behind their backs so it will stop. Just a thought. Just wishful thinking that God’s elect could ACTUALLY change things....

Mercy I too live in the south,and yes I've had to get rid of alot stinking thinking about race due to things I heard growing up.
Alot of my relatives would deny they had racist leaning but alot things they said were ingrained in ignorance and fear may God cleanse me from such misconceptions and see people as He sees them.

My family is good stock for most part but being rural Southern people they had some wrong ideas about people of color,so I've had to overcome some ideas.But I don't want to my daughters to judge people because of their pigment.
