I am on the Tulips skin and it is working fine for me.

I had the same skin difficulty a few days ago; I changed it and it lasted for that page only, as soon as I changed pages or threads it went back to blue.
Not sure I'm computer savy enough for any new fangled options.
I have the retro background currently and it looks like modern art or bubbles.
But I like bubbles!!

Were you able to find the place to choose your forum skin under the options in your User CP?
Yes. I exited out of AFF for about 30 minutes and came back and it's friends blue, even though my options say tulip.
I don't get it. Any time I've changed skins I did it at the bottom of whatever page I was on and it changed everything when I refreshed. This time, it's not happening.
