Re: One Accord's Wife Passed Away 2/6 at 1:07 a.m.
May the Lord wrap you in His strong arms of mercy and comfort you. It is so hard to lose my Dad, yet I can't imagine the sense of loss at losing your wife. You'll be in my prayers.

Psa 133:1 A Song of degrees of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psa 133:2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
Psa 133:3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
When we are in unity, God can command his blessing there!
Mat 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Mat 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Jam 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
These are just a few scriptures.
I do not know what God's answer is, or what he will do.
I only know that we have an opportunity to go before his throne of Grace for this couple who are facing so much.
Will you stand in the gap with your Church tomorrow?
I know I handle prayer requests & a lot of the altar, so in Vancouver we will!

1A, I am so sorry for your loss, but I must say, reading through this thread (with tears running down my face), I am struck by your strength and calm through the whole thing, and surely we are all relieved that your wife's pain is finally over. Your pain isn't, and I will keep you in my prayers.

One Accord
We are all so sorry for your loss. But heaven has gained and we have gained by your example as we have read your great posts and experienced your strong faith. You have been an example to us all. We thank you! Your trial has been our gain and we hope that we can measure up to be the man of God that you are. You will remain in our prayers.

Re: One Accord's Wife Passed Away 2/6 at 1:07 a.m.
I am so sorry for your loss. Through your writings, I could tell you were a devoted, caring and loving husband. Your wife was fortunate to have you by her side during this trial. You do have comfort in knowing that Lola is at peace. I will continue to pray for you that you will draw comfort and strength during the difficult days ahead. If there is anything we can do for you during this time, please call on us. God Bless.
