Also the place doesn't seem like it is Daniel heated 7 times oven hot, but just discomforting, that all you would want is a drink to wet your whistle. So, is Jesus telling us of a literal place?

Actually, there are people seen in heaven soon praying the wrath of God on those sinners on the earth that victimize them. This event is prior to the revealing of the new heaven and a new earth.
