Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
Here are some New Testament scriptures that affirm the Decalogue (Ten Commandments) being included in the New Covenant:
1. Matthew 5:17-19 - Jesus teaches that He came to fulfill the law, not abolish it, and that not a single jot or tittle will pass away until all is fulfilled.
2. Romans 3:31 - Paul writes that faith in Jesus Christ establishes the law, rather than making it void.
3. Romans 7:7-12 - Paul reflects on the enduring nature of the law, specifically citing the commandment "You shall not covet" ( Exodus 20:17).
4. Romans 13:8-10 - Paul teaches that loving one's neighbor fulfills the law, citing commandments 5-10 of the Decalogue.
5. 1 Corinthians 7:19 - Paul writes that "circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God."
6. Ephesians 6:1-3 - Paul exhorts children to obey their parents, citing the fifth commandment ( Exodus 20:12).
7. James 2:8-12 - James teaches that loving one's neighbor fulfills the royal law, citing Leviticus 19:18, which is echoed in the Decalogue.
These scriptures demonstrate that the Decalogue remains relevant and binding under the New Covenant, as a reflection of God's eternal character and will.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
Here are some scriptures that explain the purpose of the Holy Ghost is to write the commandments on your heart:
1. Hebrews 8:10 (KJV) - For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
2. Hebrews 10:16 (KJV) - This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them.
3. Jeremiah 31:33 (KJV) - But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
4. 2 Corinthians 3:3 (KJV) - Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
These scriptures describe the work of the Holy Ghost in writing God's laws and commandments on our hearts, which is a key aspect of the New Covenant. This inner transformation enables us to obey God's commands out of love and gratitude, rather than mere external obligation.

Yes! I want to obey God's commandments
The Holy Ghost writes the Law on the tablets of the heart
1. Romans 8:2 (KJV): For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
2. Romans 8:4-5 (KJV): That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit... For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
3. Galatians 5:16-18 (KJV): This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh... But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
4. Galatians 6:2 (KJV): "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
5. 2 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV): "Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
These scriptures describe the "Law of the Spirit" as:
- A law that brings freedom from sin and death ( Romans 8:2)
- A law that fulfills the righteousness of God ( Romans 8:4-5)
- A law that guides those who walk in the Spirit ( Galatians 5:16-18)
- A law that involves bearing one another's burdens ( Galatians 6:2)
- A law that gives life, unlike the letter of the law ( 2 Corinthians 3:6)
The "Law of the Spirit" refers to the guiding principle of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer, which leads to freedom, righteousness, and life.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
The endless rotating cycle of sabbath-breaker arguments is kind of amusing. They refute themselves, whenever their error in reasoning is pointed out they move on to the next error, and so they cycle through the old stand-bys, and then go back to the already refuted errors as if nobody will notice they are on a merry go round of fallacies.
Just like trinitarians, and JWs, and cessationists, and dispensationalists, and vegans.
Seriously, the EXACT SAME PATTERN, I've been watching this play out with people for almost 30 years. Wild.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
Obedience to God is not "attempting to be justified by works", nor does it mean being "of the works of the law" or being "under the law":
Romans 6:1-20,20-23 KJV
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [5] For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [6] Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [7] For he that is dead is freed from sin. [8] Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: [9] Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. [10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. [11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. [12] Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. [13] Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. [14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. [15] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. [16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? [17] But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. [18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. [19] I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. [20] For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. [21] What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. [22] But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. [23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
Now, let the Bible define "sin":
1 John 3:4-10 KJV
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
A 2nd witness from Paul:
Romans 8:1-17 KJV
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. [12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. [13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. [14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [15] For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. [16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: [17] And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Re: Sabbath Keeping Denominations
The words of Jesus Christ:
Matthew 4:4 KJV
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 5:17-20 KJV
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. [19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
