I Was Wrong About Bill Cosby

I defended him and his honor in the face of what I thought was a dirty smear campaign.

I was wrong.

He did shameful and horrible things to women in his younger years.

I was mistaken to defend him.

You tried believing the best in a bad situation. I didn't like the comments about the women which were made, but I shouldn't fault you for trying to believe in Cosby. He fooled a lot of people for a long, long time.

Wait, don't say that, we are innocent UNTIL proven guilty. I have strong opinions but I have been proven wrong, and I'm thankful, I've been proven right and I'm disappointed. We all want to believe that when people tell us something that they are telling the truth, we want to believe the best about people. With all the unrighteousness around us we would like to believe that people are at least good citizens. You believed that he was being railroaded, and there is nothing wrong about that, now you can devote time into praying for his soul.

To all of his accusers:

I hope it is possible somehow for all of you to have your day in court with the man that brought you physical and psychological pain.

I said horrible things about the women who accused him. I was wrong there too.

I'm not beating myself up. I don't feel guilty for HIS crimes. However, I do feel the necessity to make things right in light of the facts as they have been revealed.

Bill Cosby was a MONSTER in his youth.

What a sad way for his legacy to end.

Honestly, I probably won't pray for Bill Cosby.

Since I've had this thought though, I almost have to pray for him.

He REALLY fooled me to! I never bet on anything, EVER!!! I would have probaly made a bet with someone that he was totaly inocent though. All I can say is WOW!!!

I still say we would never have heard about any of this if he had not gone on the attack with some very anti-pc speeches. He was given a pass like Bill Clinton as long as he stayed in line. But the minute he strayed...look out.

I personally thought it was a smear campaign due to his attack on the negative side of "black culture." It is still possible it was allowed to come forward because of his continued attacks or I guess more properly, voicing the break down of the black family and values.

Thank you for this. For myself it was one matter for you to defend Cosby or want to wait for more information---- but the repeated accusations and comments toward the women was very offensive and unwarranted.
