I believe in a literal Satan.
I post with him all the time on this forum.

Re: Is Satan (or the Devil) a Real Being?
It is written:
Mark 16:15-18 English Standard Version (ESV)
15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Well, that settles it. lol

You can think what you want but I also know God, and I know Christ destroyed the devil ( Heb 2:14), do you believe that? If you don't then you might not be as apostolic as you thought you were.

No I don’t know that. I know that he was manifested to destroy the works of the devil and that is still being carried out. It was being carried out in His earthly ministry, in the cross, and now through the church. Have you ever cast out a devil? Better yet, have you ever seen a devil???? I’m not being humorous and I’m not referring to a carnal man. A devil, a spirit from the pits of hell with an agenda to oppose/destroy the work of God. Brother, if you haven’t encountered the kind of devil I’m talking about, then it may be because the devil doesn’t have a reason to oppose you.

Read the verse I mentioned. Then, believe it.
I never said there are no demons. I've experienced things most here have only read about. But none of that changes what the Bible teaches. There are many devils, the vast majority of them being all too human.

You can cast out a devil, but you sure can't cast out stupid.
Devils will flee when commanded, stupid stays until death.
Jesus never said, "stupid be healed, stupid be whole, or stupid go into that herd of pigs."
Sadly, stupid is eternal.

No, that would be ignorance, due to not having all the information.
Stupid is sadly ingrained within a person. It ends up becoming part of their character. Until the misfortunate day, when it comes to full bloom. You can't reason with it, you can't debate with it, and you cannot educate it. The only hope it will ever have is peradventure, God having mercy on it, and like anything miraculous, it becomes reborn as a new creation. Which is as rare as a deadman coming back to life at a church service. Hence many are called and few are chosen.
