We are through rule 4 over 100 pages in. Good so far.

Galaxy of Coming Events by William Francis Manley. Printed in 1918.

Meaning and outcome of the European war terminating in a world federation according to prophecy, the book of Revelation as I see it.

263 pages of what may be the first book length Pentecostal work on eschatology. No pictures or charts.

The impact of WW1 on Pentecostalism is difficult to measure.

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

The Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements came in the post today. In it I learned nearly all the people I am writing about are not in the dictionary.

Frank Bartleman wrote a book about the Oneness of God. I found a copy and when it comes in the mail, I will provide a book review.

Just finished reading "The Turk".

I knew the background on this before I started reading it.
But, had forgotten how inventive and creative that time was in Europe.
Good book!

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

I am in Ezekiel in my ESV, having finished Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Lamentations, recently. In my NLT, I've read all the General Epistles and am nearly done with Revelation. I finished the entire OT just a few weeks ago. Not much left to go and I will have read through the entire Bible in the NLT. In the NKJV, I am in Leviticus.

My wife and I are much further along in 12 Rules for Life. The Lucifer Effect is coming along, too.

I’m reading “ the rational bible “ by Dennis Prager. It’s basically a commentary but very interesting to read it from a Jewish perspective.
