The Latter Day Movement was born out of many different Christian denominations. They all separated into different groups, with different plans of salvation, and different ideas on the godhead. With this Latter Rain ideology came the understanding of New Light Doctrine. Meaning that these Latter Rain groups were working to "Restore" THE Church. Each separate group became the Chosen Ministers who were working on this Restoration of the Church. The Mormons make no bones about being Restorationists. Then we have a group called
The 12 Tribe Community, and The Body of Christ Assemblies. As time moved on to the 21st century the idea is that if at different stages of new light we were saved, then those who have portions of what we believe are "good" they have
Acts 2:38. Therefore Brother Stoneking gives a passing grade for Jonathan Cahn. As Brother Mark Hattabaugh gives his pulpit over to Rabbinical Talmudist Jews, because after all the Modern Jew is the apple of God's eye??? The Latter Day is the precursor to the endtimes. Therefore as the Kingdom Hall Jay Dubb Witnesses point out, "as the end approaches the light gets brighter"
Therefore the process never stops, all these groups continue to have offshoots, separate, and then mingle with each other again. So, Johnathan Cahn is "OK' in Brother Stoneking's book, because he not only is baptized by the correct formula, but that the man is a Modern Jew. T.D. Jakes is kinda Oneness, not totally One God, but close enough for some. Sadly, It looks like the "light" is just an oncoming train.
If we are talking about the office of Prophet then those who claim to hold the name or office, should be able to accurately predict the future. If they make a prediction that falls on its face, we are to ignore them and anything they say. The Latter Day Movement didn't help Christianity but just made the Pilgrim wander further off his appointed path
