All preaching is a performance. It does not matter what preacher it is Pick ANY preacher. Preaching is foolishness to the world.

In the end it does not matter if it is TF Tenny, Antony Mangun or Jeff Arnold that gets a person to follow Jesus it is a good thing.

I guess you have to spend time looking into each of those preachers eyes to understand which is something many on this web site have no idea about.

I believe you may have an errant view of preaching.

Preaching is proclamation, not performance.

Performance is a substitute for substance.

You say all preaching is performance? Pick any preacher?

I love Paul Washer. He preaches repentance and against worldliness. I pray he gets baptized in Jesus’ name some day, and filled with th Holy Ghost is he hasn’t already. I don’t believe that he is a performer, or displays false humility as some have claimed.

Paul Washer seems sincere. He is against glossolalia, however. Not a total cessationist, but says that the tongues of the Pentecostal movement are not the tongues of the Bible. He believes that the tongues of the Bible are for communication purposes only.
