My son's new puppy Border Collie is very sick.

I just gave my oldest son a Border Collie.

The doc just gave him several shots and said if does not get better in 24 hours it could get real bad.

Sorry to hear that Coop. Praying that your son doesn't lose his pet. I know how hard that is on children.

Aww, Coop. This is sad. I'm praying that God touches your puppy. And that your son's faith is strengthened and brought to a new hight as a result.

Keep us posted, ok?

In Jesus Name touch this little puppy.

One time when I was about 6 months pregnant with Colton, Our dog had puppies and it had rained all day and it was cold. (mid March) Anyway, she was not a good moma, she wanted to go hunting and thus the puppies got outside and like to have froze to death.

Anyway, the Skinner brought them in the house and brought her to, so she could feed them. The Vet told us to get some warm water and put them in it and them towel dry them real vigorously and work with them for a while.

It was on a Wednesday night and I sat my big fat pregnant self in the floor and worked with these puppies for 3 hours and worked with those little guys and we had one that was so cold that he was stiff. We could hold him up by his tail and he would stick straight out. I sat in the floor and cried and prayed over everyone of those little things.

I'm glad to report that everyone of them lived!!!!! We didn't lose one. We kept them in the house for a couple days and then we put them outside with her again.

So I know that God does answer prayers over little puppies!!!

If I remember right one of the worst things about Parvo is dehydration. They die from it.My daugher had to make her puppy drink every hour. She did this with a dropper.

The parvo test was Negative, but the pup's mouth and lips are dry.

My wife is getting the dropper now. Thanks for the tips.

Coop, As animal lovers my wife and I feel your pain! I am praying that this little puppy pulls through and gets better quickly. Keep us posted.

At least you are much older and wiser now in handling these type situations now that you are 40.
