Re: Qassem Soleimani.
Before 9/11 Bill Cooper came up with a scenario which involved false flags. I knew all about operation Northwoods from my dad. He told me a lot of stuff which I took with the finest grains of salt. Bill Cooper’s story concerning the Middle East, oil, certain countries sounded interesting and even plausible. But I thought to myself “this guy believes the government is hiding information on extraterrestrials” I’m sorry but you lose me with the whole Mr Space man is helping the United States take over the world. My opinion is that men in their attempts to do what’s right or what’s wrong just mess up. They plot and plan but there are so many variables that they just make everything go sideways. This whole Middle East thing is a total train wreck. What makes matters even more bizarre is that people allow it to continue. All because they shoehorn eschatology into their world view. Therefore they leave the adults alone to wreak havoc. Because after all everything is supposed to get worse? Wow.

He ran against W and has campaigned for John Kerry and endorsed HRC and Obama. There are drafts of plans created all the time which are never made final or the final plan has been modified and changed from the original draft. I guarantee you this was not a final plan by the W admin or Pentagon. It's absurd to believe that the Joint Chiefs or any General or POTUS would sign off on a plan to attack SEVEN countries in 5 years.
As this video was from 2006, this is not the Trump foreign policy nor was it the foreign policy of Obama.
It is incredibly unlikely that Trump will attempt to go to war with Iran or anyone else, even though he will use selected strikes against figureheads and will order proportionate counter-strikes to attacks against the US.

Re: Qassem Soleimani.
For all the hand wringing and palpitations from the left and even some on the right, Iran lobbed several missiles at a couple bases in Iraq, resulting in little damage and no casualties.
Iran's FM said it was a proportional response against a base where the attack against Soleimani initiated. He stated Iran did not want escalation or war. The Ayatollah's response was a bit different. He said the US was slapped but that it wasn't enough.

Re: Qassem Soleimani.
Gotta love Trump. Couldn't resist throwing a bit of shade at the Obama administration --
"The missiles fired last night at us and our allies were paid for with the funds made available by the last administration."

I don't know about the happy ending. But it doesn't appear Iran is interested in going to war with us, as many worried they would.
I wouldn't want to go to war with Trump as POTUS either because I guarantee you Trump wouldn't mess around. He would go for the kill shot immediately, possibly using a tactical nuke strike against the Ayatollah himself. There are enough missiles on ships, bases and drones in the region to wipe out the IRG and its bases in a very short time.

"World War I began in 1914 after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and lasted until 1918. During the conflict, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire (the Central Powers) fought against Great Britain, France, Russia, Italy, Romania, Japan and the United States (the Allied Powers)."
Bro, killing off leaders is what starts wars.
While one side would like to keep everything to "selected strikes" the other side might not feel the same way.
