I would certainly never do anything including sleight of hand in church. But sleight of hand is not magic. The issue of magic in the church is not tricks. Magic is magic. Supernatural. Not trickery. Who said Arnold was doing actual magic and hypnosis, or what are you talking about?

Isnt "trickery" deceit? Is it right or wrong to be ok with "deceit"? Isnt this a man (albeit popular) teaching the art of deception? Isnt it teaching the children that deception is cool?

Paul said men would wax worse and worse deceiving and being deceived.

Magic is practiced OPENLY in the Apostolic movement by one of its great leaders. If its just "trickery" its point is "deception". Its ok for our movement to be identified with magic, hypnosis, and deception!

No outrage. No sense that the honor of Jesus is being violated. Just another big yawn as we worry about going "Charismatic".
