We had our Revolution to fight.
Our countrymen spilled their own blood.
Besides, what you presented is not the reason we went to war with Iraq in the first place and you know it.
It's not the reason that was sold to the American general population because it would have never worked.
The "Coalition of the Willing" did not sign up for the mission you mention either.
Hussein was not innocent. He was not saved. He was wicked.
However, his wickedness does not call for the wickedness displayed by the "decision makers" in their deception of so many in trying to convince us that Hussein was an immediate threat to the world.
Now we have someone who is DEFNITELY more of a threat to the world in power in Iran.
Notice how NO ONE is rushing to take this wicked man out of power!
Was Hussein more wicked than the Iran guy?
When Hussein was hanged, I was sad.
Whether or not he deserved is another discussion.
Our role in the way that whole thing unravelled is treacherous at best.
God will judge those who decieved us for their own purposes. Unless they repent, the seeds sown in that whole episode will produce terrible, terrible fruit.
But it doesn't matter to most non-thinkers as Hussien was a bad man and probably deserved to die anyway.
So did Saul.
