I love you sis, but you can't put noodles in TEXAS chili. Besides, do you know how much preservatives are in the Hormel brand? I hear you can embalm someone with that stuff.
Chili is about what you like. Take the basics that you know it to have in it and that you like and then add to or take away as you see fit. Do you like it thick or more soupy? Do you like it 5 alarm hot or just a bit spicy? Do you like ground meat or do you want cubed meat? Do you like it chunky? your best bet is to start out and add what you want and then decide if you like it and next time try something else till you come up with one that you REALLY LIKE.
