The Texas Secretary of State, who is in charge of elections is warning voter, saying the Tarrant County residents who reach out to his office say “…it appeared to them that the machine had changed one or more of their selections to a candidate from a different party.”

People are impatient and, as you said, don't know how to use the machine.

I saw a live report where they showed an example of the "error" aka the iD10T error. They also showed how to correctly use the machine.

Basically people need to 1) allow the machine to process the selection before moving to the next screen; 2) and most importantly - review the selections before submitting.
