Re: This Could Be Big!

It is real simple.

Israel is the only democracy in the middle east. We support democracy. We do not (or should not) support non-democratic regimes over democracies.

period.

If there are issues with Israel in the way they behave we deal with that within the contexrt of dealing with an ally.

there will never be a day when i will support the Plaistinains so long as they choose to be represented by thugs and terrorists. period.

Re: This Could Be Big!

BHO Administration wants a "regime change" in Israel?!?

Allegedly, the BHO admin may be trying to poison the political waters with Netanyahu in hopes of causing political turmoil in Israel and have a new admin brought in there.

If this wasn't so serious, it would be hilarious. Demanding this of our ally? Of course, the article states that W's admin did the same thing with Israeli PM Rabin ... the W admin created problems with the Israeli PM and admin and it allowed Rabin to become PM.

Re: This Could Be Big!

A quote from the article sourced above ...

Quote:
...Obama and Clinton may be trying to create the impression Netanyahu is "mismanaging the relationship" with Washington in order to shake up Israeli politics.

After all, he said, former president George H.W. Bush and his top diplomat James Baker did much the same thing with then Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Shamir and helped pave the way for Yitzhak Rabin to become prime minister.
Another quote

Quote:
...the Obama administration might be contemplating a way to change Israel's political landscape.

"I would like to say 'no' because we don't do that with Israel and with friends and democracies," Kurtzer told AFP when asked whether "regime change" might be part of the Obama strategy.

"But I don't doubt that there are some (Obama) people who are angry enough to want to see the (Netanyahu) government fall," he said.

Re: This Could Be Big!

Despite Vice President Joe Biden's recent pledge of unswerving fidelity to Israel during his recent visit there, the rhetoric and pressure directed by the Obama administration against the only fully functioning democracy in the Middle East more accurately resembles the behavior of an enemy. - Cal Thomas

Re: This Could Be Big!

I knew Walter the grumpy old man looked familiar! (Walter is one of Jeff Dunham's dummy's)

Here is Walter

And here is a pic taken during Biden's infamous trip to Israel

Granted, the dummy has less hair, but it works! Jeff Dunham's grumpy old man dummy is Biden's twin!
