CM's son and Ron's brother.

Eight years ago he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and was given one year to live. However, he went through treatment and would have ups and down throughout those eight years.

The past few weeks he went down fast and they even found a lesion on his brain.

Rudy and I have worked together for the last few months and have become good friends. He has helped me not only get into the business of insuring churches, which he has done for years but he has helped me in other areas of life as well.

I will miss him and his friendship. I will miss just sitting and talking to him about life. He always had an encouraging word of wisdom for me. May God uplift and encourage the Beacton family in this time.

VB - Rudy has the greatest sense of humor too. Pure dry wit that if you didn't listen close enough, you could almost miss it.

My cousin was named after him - the only two Rudy's I know.

Sad but bittersweet when you know they're not getting better. How old was he?

Mid to late 50's I'm guessing.

The Bectons have been family friends for many years. Our prayers are with them.
