Tom and I just got back from the hospital. He has been having pains in his chest and shortness of breath. There is good news and bad news.
The good news is that he has no damage to his heart.
The bad news is that he needs triple bypass surgery to prevent a heart attack. Tom’s surgery needs to take place ASAP, but they cannot operate until all the plavix (blood thinner) is out of his system. So, it looks like Tom will be having surgery on 9/20. After surgery he will have a 4-6 week recovery period where his activities will be very restricted, no lifting, no driving, ect. We will be focused on his recovery. The continuing good news is that the Dr believes that he has an excellent chance for successful surgery and recovery.
And I ask you would pray for my BIL, he is having to go through treatments, again, for his colon cancer. It isn't looking like it is going well.
Praying for both of your family members.........yours and Amanah's.....

Lots to pray for right now. Praying for you, Amanah and for your husband. Asking God for a successful surgery, a fast and easy healing and peace of mind and heart for both of you.
