In my opinion..and experience,actually,..there is very little that you can do to change this situation.I probably have met you,but I do not KNOW you, likewise with this pastor,we know each other, but do not truly know each other. He would not listen to me, and I could not really comment any way...not being familiar with the situation...These things that happen to us as we walk with the Lord, sometimes serve to be educational, though downright painful! I often tell my wife, that if we have not learned anything else in our personal difficulties..we have learned how NOT to treat people.
I KNOW there is nothing I can do to change the situation. However, these dramas keep getting repeated, just the name of the person involved changes. These kind of things have been going on for YEARS in this assembly.
However, my deepest prayer, and wish is that the Lord could undertake and intervene in the heart of this pastor, by which so many hurting people and situations could be healed.
This thread took off. Ok. So I didn't read the pages. I did read a comment about someone not coming off in a certain way or something...
So I will respond to that...
You can meet pastors. They can leave you with an awesome impression and it be a front. I would go as far as to say that many pastors do not really know their pastor friends. They may know their standards and may have hear some cool sermons... An opinion based on that is not an accurate portrayal. People wear a mask when they need to.
