Upcoming WPF Conferences???

E-Group and the Acts 2:38 Conference are two upcoming conferences sponsored/hosted by WPF churches and ministers.

E-Group is a conference for young apostolic ministers being held in Redlands, CA: http://www.menseekinggod.blogspot.com/

The Acts 2:38 conference is a youth oriented meeting being held in Bakersfield, CA: http://www.gbfpc.org/images/238_ad.swf

It is interesting to note that the Acts 2:38 conference is nearly the same dates as the newly formed UPC Southern California District's Youth Convention (Jan. 1-3 2009)

Are these conferences official WPF sponsored events?

Is the Acts 2:38 conference being held at the same time to prevent WPF youth in southern California from going to the UPC youth convention?

As the E-Group Conference is open to all young apostolic ministers regardless of their affiliations, could there be a push for recruitment into the WPF?

In most parts of the country this preacher would be labeled a hypocrite.

I saw the ad for the E-Group and my first thought was this is for the purpose of recruiting new members to WPF. Guess we were thinking the same thing on that one. Don't know about the 238 conference.

Of course they are scheduling that to prevent their youth from going to the UPC events. They want to break the ties the youth have between them.

Preachers in the WD have been playing this game all the way back to the PSR days.
