The holocaust was horrible. Where the Nazi soldiers crimes any worse then the roman soldier who beat and crucified Jesus?

Israel does a right to exist as a nation,but endorsing violence to support her,that sounds over the top to me.But in fairness I should not comment till I hear this for myself.I have other things in my life at present that sort of weigh heavy on my mind.
