I have news for you, CB...there are carnal folks in the Church who not only have never watched TV, they can't even spell television.
Do I think TV is a grand thing?! No, there's a lot of junk on it, but y'all are naive if you think a great majority of preachers and Saints don't watch TV or have one already.

what door was opened? TV? Many UPCers already watch TV. Make a resolution that disapproves of most of the worldly entertainment ON TV but recognizes that the devil had it long enough

And look at the state of the American church because of such. We are in need of great soul searching revival, and preachers are to busy watching Despirate Housewives to pray. God help us!!

But is the fact they have no problem with watching sin the reason they got TV or did TV make them have no problem with watching TV?
Me thinks Unregistered and the others have no clue

If not the TV the could be watching movies, reading trash novels, porn mags, porn on the internet. Do we blame TV or do we blame those Americans for what they were watching to begin with? Not everyone that has a TV watches Desparate Housewives you know. Maybe the preachers problem is they don't pray not that they have a TV? Not that I think they should have one or any of us, but this is like the argument of whether or not guns kill

Oh, I have no doubt that tv is a symptom, and not the root of the problem. But it does continue to water the root of the issue.

I never said TV was a symptom...but rather WHAT they are watching ON TV just as what Oneness Pentecostals are also watching ON the Internet.
