Trixie Belden books....
Someone here had asked me that if I came across any Trixie Belden books to let them know. Unfortunately, it's been so long ago, that I forgot who it was that asked.
My pastors wife has the ENTIRE set of them... for sale... price is negotiable....
If you are still looking for them, please PM me. Thanks!!

Re: Trixie Belden books....
Me too...if you don't have any other takers, I might be interested. (Depends on the price.)
I read every single Trixie Belden book when I was a kid...and all the Nancy Drews, Hardy Boys, Bobbsey Twins, The Black Stallion books....

LOL! Well, I liked her because she had freckles like me.

Growing up UPC in Alaska I became a voracious reader during those cold, dark winters when it got too cold to play outside.
My favorite books were The Hardy Boys, The Power Brothers, Brains Benton Mysteries, Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators, Tom Swift, and a few more "boys" books.
However if there were no new titles of those series out I would "settle" for a Nancy Drew book or even Trixie Belden. Of course I didn't want anybody to actually see me with a "girl book". LOL.

Oh, my goodness, I'd be hell-bound for sure if they did! LOL!!!
I've tried so many times to TAN, and I just end up with more freckles! The only way I can "tan" at all is if I burn a bit with no sunscreen, and that isn't good for your skin, so....*sigh*
I really don't mind anymore, though. I kind of like my freckles.

Haha!!!! I was the same way with the Hardy Boys and the 3 Investigators...they were my second choice to ND or TB, but they would work in a pinch. Oh, and that investigator kid, what was his name? Where you had a chance to solve the mystery yourself at the end of each chapter? Encyclopedia Brown!!!!
It's probably funny, but I didn't even know Alfred Hitchcock wrote books. I have watched a lot (if not all) of his movies. Rear Window is my favorite.

Re: Trixie Belden books....
Did you all read the Henry Higgins and Ribsy books? One summer I spent the whole summer making every-other-day bike rides to our local library where our sweet little librarian would have another Ribsy book waiting for me. By the end of June I had read every single one that we had.
