I was wondering the same thing. I would bet the farm we are talking about standards but I could be wrong. My wife says I often am.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"

We just got testimony of a man that was healed fo cancer. But I wear a beard sometimes and my pastor doesn’t care, so we must be one of those weak churches.

How prominent are the organizations in your area?

I live in London, UK.
There is a strong denominational presence in my city, as well as the rest of the UK.
However, neither PAW or UPCI is not the largest of the denominational groups in the UK.
The largest of the Apostolic denominations would be Bethel United Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic (UK & Europe), which has over 40 assemblies across the UK. The organisation traces its origins to the arrival of Jamaicans in the UK in 1955. Their roots in turn go all the way back to G T Haywood sending out missionaries to Jamaica in 1918.
Other denominational groups in the UK are: COOLJC (Bishop Lawson), Beulah Apostolic (a smaller group), PAW, UPCI and then a raft of independent churches.

Broward County Palm County and Dade County there is every denomination under the sun. Plus more cults then you could shake a stick at. All having fun eating barbeque in the Florida sun.

The church you pastor is called a ward, correct?
