Quote:
Visions and dreams are symbolic most often.
Joseph sees dreams of sun, moon and stars bowing to him. SYMBOLIC.
Jesus is seen by JOHN as a Lamb with 7 eyes and horns. SYMBOLIC. THAT IS what SIGNIFIED means in Rev 1:1. Satan is a red dragon with seven heads and a tail throwing down stars. SYMBOLIC.

As if we had no idea. As if we had never read the Bible. LOL
Quote:
The only other single place the greek word is used is to describe Agabus in Acts as signifying about a dearth to come. It does not say HOW he did so, but we read of the nature of his ministry in an example where he foretells that PAUL will be bound in Jerusalem. How? He took Paul's belt and tied him up with it. SIGNIFYING. Would Paull literally be bound by HIS OWN BELT? No. It signified the bondage of prison etc.

In 46 years of being around "futurists" never
ONCE.....not even one time have I heard of anyone
NOT UNDERSTANDING Paul would be bound in prison but rather by a belt.
Quote:
Same with Revelation as per the first verse! VISIONS that SYMBOLIZED John's future. And THE REST OF THE BIBLE, primarily the OLD TESTAMENT actual STORIES , is used as those symbols

We understand how the symbols can be interpreted
DIFFERENTLY by mens private interpretations which is well documented.

(But naysayers will not take note of my last paragraph above and continue a misrepresentation saying we make up interpretations at will rather than stay strictly to how the bible used those pictures, itself.)

And your doctrine reduces the
MAJESTY of Bible prophecy to a few burning walls around Jerusalem and verified by an antichrist called Josephus.
