Re: Tested positive

Test results came back today... Tested positive. My symptoms haven't changed. I'm taking a couple Tylenol a day. Drinking water mostly. Trying to get outside as much as I can. We've been pretty isolated since last week, thankfully.

Re: Tested positive

Did your family test positive also? And if not will you need to isolate from them? Asking because I'm concerned how that all works.

Re: Tested positive

Glad it doesn’t sound to severe. Seems to be the normal for 90% of people ... Im interested to see if your family has it too to see how contiguous it is in the home... form what I read about 30% get it it with in the home after one gets it...

Re: Tested positive

They haven't been tested. It's not really feasible for me to isolate from them. None of them are showing any signs of being sick and I've been infected a little over a week now.

Re: Tested positive

All this depends on a test result - when the tests ate about as invalid as a quadriplegic Eskimo in a marathon run across the desert.

Re: Tested positive

A distant relative of mine got it. The rest of the household didn’t. They did a good job isolating him in a room, though.

Well according to how they make it sound you are contagious even before symptoms so seems everyone would already be exposed by the time symptoms start showing

It depends how long it takes to show symptoms. How an illness develops and when it starts exactly being contagious depends on many variables. Biology prediction is a complex subject. All we can do is observe it, and document commonalities and patterns.

Re: Tested positive

Just about everyone from the church that has went to get tested, has tested positive. Noone is seriously sick so far. My cough was a little worse this morning and my throat was sore. My headache and fever are gone. I'm not having any trouble breathing. My family isn't showing any signs of being sick.
