Please keep my son in your prayers

My son has been deployed again. Please remember him, and his wife, in your prayers; as well as my husband, daughters and me.

Thank you so much.

You betcha, Subby. I will pray for all of you. I am adding a post-it note to my desktop, right next to the one for Godzchild's granddaughter Yvonne Emily who has yet to be born.

Subdued,

I have been there and done that. My son served two tours in Iraq as a United States Marine. I will be praying.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Please keep my son in your prayers

I will be praying. Two of our boys have served, one is still active and will be deployed again in April... Praying for him will allow me to just tag yours right on!
