I don't read anywhere of the early church becoming involved in resistance to the Roman government or clamoring for civil war. They focused on one thing: the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Christ.

I really hope the church, especially the leaders and those who have become so entangled in politics, will step back and get back to the original mission, the Great Commission.

Exactly right. The next 4 years will see the new America divorcing the Churches.

And depending on the Church reaction, the overreach could backfire.

Or . . . not. I'm the last guy to try to determine why God does what he does. Trump was an outlier. Somewhere in the middle of this the "Cyrus" thing (Or even Jehu, which was one of Johnathan Cahn's summations, which I still find fascinating) came out, and somebody told Trump he was Cyrus (not a good thing to tell a guy with his penchant for adulation).

But he got three justices through that are somewhat reliable on big-ticket stuff.

Ginsberg's Rosh Hashanah death was another odd thing.

Trump was a blessing in this sense. We had 4 more years to prepare ourselves for the things that are coming. He failed in that he didnt make war against abortion. As of a few weeks ago Planned Parenthood was getting twice as much Federal Funding as under Obama.

And we all know he supported Sodom all the way using quid quo pro with nations that opposed it.

Nonetheless Im thankful he was there. It could have been much worse under the Dems.
