Couple days ago got a bunch of books in the mail, which I am now reading.
Horae Apocalypticae, or
A Commentary on the Apocalypse, Critical, and Historical by E. B. Elliott, 5th Edition. Received Volumes 1, 2, and 4 already, waiting on Vol 3 to arrive in the next couple of days. Had parts of this in PDF but finally found a print version. Have to say this is hands down the most exhaustive, investigative, and most copiously footnoted commentary on Revelation ever. Presents the premillennial historicist approach and interpretation.
The Present Reign of Jesus Christ by Robert Caringola. "An historical interpretation of the Book of Revelation." Historicist amillennial interpretation, by a Oneness, Jesus Name
Acts 2:38 Pentecostal.
The Laxdaela Saga transl. by Magnus Magnusson, classic Icelandic Saga from the 10th or 11th century, I believe (two of my patrilineal ancestors, including our family namesake, appear in this Saga).
Gods and Fighting Men: The Story of the Tuatha De Danaan and of the Fianna of Ireland transl. by Lady Gregory, with a Preface by W. B. Yeats.
I'm currently reading these three, but I also got the following which I plan on starting soon:
Irish Kings and High-Kings by Francis John Byrne.
Viking Pirates and Christian Princes: Dynasty, Religion, and Empire in the North Atlantic by Benjamin Hudson.
History of Ireland, in Three Volumes, by Rev Geoffrey Keating, D.D., translated from the Gaelic by John O'Mahony.
