Does this bother you?
There are approximately 450 million people, do not have a single verse of scripture in their native language...
This takes sleep from my eyes...We are a very blessed people!

Jesus' Prayer Request
Sis, that is an astounding number. I heard a message once about "Jesus' Prayer Request" and it was for labourers to work in the field for the harvest.
Matthew 9:38: "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."

Yes, we are blessed indeed, Mother A...what can we do to help you?!
A side note: I had a friend many years ago who used to sing with a gospel recording artist. On there European tour, she was astounded to hear the folks there praying that God would send missionaries to the the U.S.
It's remarkable what others see about us, and what we neglect to see.

Yes, Sister Alvear, It does bother me - actually it breaks my heart and makes me weep!
Thank you for all you do. Your passion for God and compassion for the lost really moves me to do more.

Oh, that I had another life to give for the cause of Missions...but remember we could not be doing what we are doing without the help of our brothers and sisters in America.
The spirit of God is constantly beckoning us to live before the throne, to see the world as Jesus sees the world.

In this we can also be thankful that over 93.5% of the population of the world does have the Bible in their own language.
But the job is definitely not yet complete.

OF THE FIGURES YOU QUOTE i WONDER WHAT ARE THE TRUE FIGURES of people who really know at least Jesus as more than just an idol in some collection of gods?
