Did Adam and Eve have the Holy Sp...Holy Ghost?
I feel almost stupid asking this... 
There's a guy going around telling people that Adam and Eve had the Holy Ghost because God breathed into Adam the breath of life. He states that breath is ruach/wind/spirit. I am familiar with RUACH. However, I feel that he is reading into the text something that is NOT there. 
Because ruach can mean spirit doesn't mean it should always translated be as spirit.. correct? Right. My thoughts.

I believe that he did initially. He was told that in the day you eat..you shall surely die. He died a spiritual death that day by losing the indwelling of the Spirit.
Something that kind of bugs me. I hear it preached and stated frequently “We are created in the image of God!”
No we aren’t! Adam was initially created in the image of God but the image was marred through sin. We are created in the image of fallen man and the image of God is restored in us through the new birth.

I don’t believe they had the Holy Ghost. It’s something... to have the Holy Ghost and SIN before there was sin.

No. They had natural life like the animals who had breath of life. But I think eating the fruit of life would be like us having the Holy Ghost. They never did eat of it.

Right. It doesn't make sense to my simple mind that they would have the Holy Ghost, and the rest of us just get oxygen upon birth. My two pesos anyway.

If the fruit of life corresponds to the baptism of the Holy Ghost, we can see why the devil wanted them to get the other fruit instead!
