Why don't you want to teach search for truth 2?

I'm an historicist and don't believe there is a gap in Daniel's 70 weeks.

Aside from that, I'm on the outreach team, my focus is outreach and sharing the gospel. When the opportunity presents I will be teaching "Into His marvelous light" bible study.

I understand, I also don't believe everything in search for truth is the truth.

He has no scriptural authority to tell you to wear your hair up all the time.

As for Search for Truth 2, I need more details before giving an opinion. Is there something in it you do not agree with?

Dispensationalism.

I can go along with the hair thing, but can't teach the 1948 is the greatest fulfillment of prophecy and soon animal sacrifices will return thing.

Sorry but Apostolic buns dont resonate with "looking our best" IMO. And all the women not just the platform people are commanded to follow this.

All the while rejecting the Biblical head covering.

O well I guess its obey the Preacher regardless.

Ok they teach its sin for a woman to even TRIM their hair because then its no longer "long". Then when its long and untrimmed its to sexy. So the answer is make them wear it in an odd looking bun.

Where does this nonsense end?

Sister, I definitely agree you shouldn’t teach what you are not convinced of. You can teach probably most of that book and skip the parts you don’t agree with. Or you can do the into his marvelous light as you said.

Regarding the hairdo, he may have told you it is for looking your “best”, but truly for some wearing the hair down is seen as immodest. IIRC, it was also a thing practiced in the first centuries by some congregations. I would say in that one you should obey the pastor of your congregation.
