As far as a deer panting for water has nothing to do with love making. It has all to do with deep WANT. Some Charismatics have way too much sugar in the tank.
Never have I said to make love to Jesus. But I have told Jesus daily for decades I love him. I have told him I worship him. I have sang songs of love to him. To me this is the norm.

I asked Houston the question what Church he was sitting in when the Pastor said to make love to Jesus? Last I knew I thought he attended an APOSTOLIC CHURCH? I would guess there are APOSTOLIC saints out there that do the same.

Nonetheless I am glad you said SOME Charismatics put to much sugar in the tank. I dont care for A LOT of Charismatic music thats out there in recent years.

What I do like I REALLY LIKE. It seems TO ME..........like music one would hear in Heaven.

Again, where we came into the discussion is concerning my posted video with a Catherine Mullins and the weird interviewer speaking Charismatically to each other. It was also pointed out that the men get pretty soft and the women have to take the lead position. Leaving the men to be the followers. Loving my father, and loving my wife is different? Right?

So did you even listen to the video? You just may have been blessed.

I love Jesus with a hot, burning, passionate love.

So if there may be songs that DO use what we would consider "romantic" language it would not be unusual.

Consider this:

Titus 1:15

15Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

So yes at times God uses such imagery to portray his love for the Church.
In Ezekiel God is speaking to the Nation as if it were a young girl whom He had betrothed and married. Now, show us where David, Jesus, or any other man in the Bible spoke of himself as a young girl in the honeymoon suite with Jehovah, and you might have a case.

Have you told your latest pastor you love him with a hot, burning, passionate love? (1 Peter 1:22)

No but it would be Biblical to do so wouldn't it?

Christ has betrothed us to himself as a chaste virgin. 2 Cor. 11:2

Practically any Bible Commentary will tell you that Song Of Solomon is written concerning the love between Christ and his bride.

This is just a small sample of his love.
Quote:
6Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

7Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
I can't believe I am having to try to convince people who say they have the Holy Spirit that its ok to love Jesus with a hot and burning love.

Mike, do you feel as if you are a male bride?

Mike, I'm a guy, I was never a sandal wearing hippy.

Again, I love my father, I love my brothers, and I love my wife.

I love Jesus Christ.

All about devotion.

I can't believe how many Pentecostal don't understand the English language, let alone Bible language.

Another thing, the guy in the video needs the Holy Ghost.

The first of all the commandments is,

Mark 12:29-30

Hear Oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord......

And thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all they HEART and all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the FIRST COMMANDMENT.

Sometimes that vomiting sound is the lukewarm being vomited out of Christs mouth. They are not burning with love for him. Rev. 3:15-16
