Eastern European nations, for the most part, have realized letting liberal democracy go too far is dangerous. They are happy with nationalism and a touch of authoritarianism. You vote in officials who you think have your best interest in mind. While you think that, there are other powers at work. Lobbyists, corporations, and other special interest groups who move the levers. Yet, God is the one who gets the last move. While some may believe this country is oh so righteous in its causes, they will find that one cannot be a beacon of good on one hand, while it downloads child porn on the other.
