Re: Bishop Michael Curry
Everyone is hailing Bishop Curry for his message on love. Truth be told is a social justice warrior.
A campaigner for social justice, the 65-year-old has spoken out about LGBT rights, and immigration policy. Bishop Curry is unafraid of being seen as political and is set to march against Donald Trump in four days' time. He has called the president "dangerous" and co-signed a damning statement which said: "We are living through... a dangerous crisis of moral and political leadership at the highest levels of our government." https://news.sky.com/story/who-is-bi...acher-11378603

Re: Bishop Michael Curry
I just loved the breath of fresh air that bishop brought to that stuffy Anglican church. I was watching the faces of the royal family and their reactions were priceless! Princess Anne's daughter Zara was particularly interested in what he had to say. I think the Queen & Prince Philip were probably appalled. I think the bishop should have cut it short a few minutes earlier...once he had made his funny remark about shutting up and letting the couple get married, he'd lost his audience, even though he some more good things to say.
Loved the music. You can't beat the Anglican tradition for beautiful boy's choir music and I love it but the black choir was great, too! That interior of that church building is stunning. Love that gothic architecture!

He was unusual and charismatic and people were smitten with him.
But if you dig for a little information about him, there is another side to him.
I posted the pics with the ladies' hats and the comments about head coverings to tease Bros Michael and Esaias. I'm pretty sure this is not what they have in mind for head coverings.

I know what you're saying about the bishop. I just liked his style. His substance is a different story. But compared to those stuffy denominational types, he was quite enjoyable.
What did you think of Camilla's hat? I read that someone was missing a chunk of insulation from their attic when that one was made!
