Alters commentary is excellent, I'm getting fresh insight to familiar stories. I'm currently reading the David narrative. So struck by the heartache that befalls him for his sins of adultery/murder. Yes, he is forgiven, but the schranpel and damage to his life and family, Tamar, Absalom, a divided kingdom, unending heartache. From the glorious exploits of his youth to the bitter disappointments of old age his story is magnificent and also a cautionary tale.

I think you will very much like the Psalms.

I just got a new book in the mail, that asks the age old question which has plagued mankind for millennia. What is a woman?

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

I've decided to take a break, after a couple of decades of reading only non-fiction, to get back to fiction by reading the Complete Sherlock Holmes, over 1,000 pages of all 56 tales by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (see image below).

In the meantime, I read and finished Heaven's Breath: A Natural History of the Wind by Lyall Watson:

I also started and am currently reading The Old Testament in Revelation by Dr. Michael Heiser:

Re: What Are You Reading Currently, 2.0

Still making my way through The Complete Collection of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthus Conan Doyle.

Otherwise, I recently finished Inexpressible: Hesed and the Mystery of God's Lovingkindness by Michael Card.

I've also begun reading The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge by Jeremy Narby, Ph. D.

https://www.amazon.com/Cosmic-Serpen.../dp/0874779642

And, finally, have also started reading The Rebbe's Army: Inside the World of Chabad-Lubavitch by Sue Fishkoff.
