"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I did not watch the video. I have to wait until I have 13 minutes of my life I can devote to it. His name jumped out at me reminding me of one of my favorite Star Trek movies so thus the deep insightful post I made.

YES!!! More Christian persecution studies! My candystick! Gotta believe in Christian persecution more than most things, or else you're in error, you know.

Re: Jonathan Cahn Preaches To The United Nations
I watched the video. The UN is not the answer to the persecution of Christians.

I don't think that's the point. The point is it just mentioned Christians going through hell on earth.

IMO, it sounded like a plea for the UN to take some kind of action or do something about the persecution of Christians.

That was the point of Cahn. Not the point of MTD mentioning it, though. MTD is trying to prove post-trib rapture teaching correct.

I have noticed that the press doesn't seem very interested in any in depth coverage of ISIS persecuting and killing Christians. The latest being more killings by the sea of Ethiopian christians.
Also news over the weekend of a boat with illegal immigrants trying to get from I think Libya to Italy and the Muslims on board threw the 12 Christians on the boat overboard to drown. Another example of what a beautiful peaceful religion Islam is I guess.
ISIS is the new Nazi's only persecuting Christians as well as Jews.
