I never thought of them as fancy. They are just so easy. I usually keep a wedge of Parmesan in the freezer.
You are the first person I have seen that likes tomato soup. It’s my favorite.
I use cambells condensed tomato and add heavy whipping cream with Italian herbs and simmer...great with grilled cheeses or topped with garlic croutons.
