Re: Public school and the Christian parent

7 Public education is controlled by the wicked.
This has been demonstrated by the simple fact that the NEA, which controls public education, is fully in alignment with the goals of the founders of public education – the eradication of Christianity and the forming of a socialist, humanist utopia through the mechanism of the public school system.

http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com...iet_Style.html This link demonstrates that modern education is based on B F Skinner's 'operant conditioning', that those who implemented this humanist approach knew full well what they were doing, and that it is specifically designed to mentally indoctrinate children to become docile, subservient, humanistic, atheistic socialists.

The book, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, written by Charlotte Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), US Department of Education (under Reagan), extensively documents the fact that public education is managed, directed, and overseen by atheists, antichrists, humanists, communists, and assorted perverts. The public education system is run by the wicked, and parents who send their kids off to public school are surrendering their children into the control of Christ-hating reprobate sons of Belial to be educated and trained. Surrendering your children willfully to the wicked, for the express purpose of having them train your children in wickedness and unbelief, is a sin, and amounts to causing those children to stumble. It must be repented of, for both the child's - and the parent's - souls are at stake.

Psalms 26:4-6 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. (5) I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked. (6) I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
Innocency is the condition of not being guilty of sin, and this requires hating the congregation of evil doers and not participating with or “sitting with” the wicked. By sending your children to public schools, which use an educational curriculum designed by the wicked to destroy your children's souls, you are far from innocent. Repentance is required if you desire to be forgiven, and if you desire to escape the judgment that awaits.
Psalms 71:4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
Our prayer should be for God to deliver us out of the hand of the wicked. Should we then surrender our children into the hand of the wicked, and pretend it is well with our souls?
Psalms 101:2-4 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. (3) I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. (4) A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
Being right with God includes rejecting any wicked thing (including wicked educational curricula), it includes hating the work of those who turn aside from God (including the educational curricula and methods devised by those who turn aside from God). It means one refuses to allow such products of wickedness to cleave to oneself. It means one refuses to associate with and partner with the froward and wicked, it means one will separate oneself from such people. Therefore, one who chooses instead to know a wicked person, to entertain the froward, to allow the works of apostates and atheists to cleave to oneself, to refuse to hate the works of those who have turned aside from God, and to set their eyes on wicked things and allow them place in one's life, is one who is not behaving wisely, is not upright in heart with God. How much more those who impose all these abominable things on their children? By partnering with the wicked and ungodly, to use wickedness and the work of those who turn aside from God as a means of educating one's children, one participates in the sins of the wicked and will surely receive of their plagues.
Psalms 140:4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
We should pray to be kept from the control and power of the wicked. We should pray to be preserved from the hands of those whose intention is to overthrow our goings, such as by attempting to subvert our children to sin, wickedness, and unbelief. We should not be joining in affinity with them, nor should we be giving our children to them to be “educated”.
Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
After listing a multitude of wicked abominable sins, the apostle declares those who practice such things are worthy of death. Those things include being disobedient to parents, sodomy and lesbianism, fornication, hating God, being proud, and inventing evil things – all of which and more are taught in public schools to your children. And the apostle goes on to rebuke those who have pleasure in them which do such things. Those who send their children to public school have pleasure in them which teach their children to do these things, otherwise they wouldn't send their children into their clutches to be trained by them. Repentance is required. Either that, or the lake of fire.

Re: Public school and the Christian parent

8. All eight objections are useless – the good school district excuse; the salt and light excuse; the sunday school excuse; the family influence/devotions excuse; the exception excuse; the can't afford private school excuse; the can't homeschool excuse; the state forbids it excuse.

Objection 1 – The vast majority of parents believe that the nation's schools are terrible, but they also believe that their own school district is great or better than the rest. This is impossible, that most people know the public schools are bad, but yet the same people believe their own school district is the exception! This can only be explained by the fact that everyone wants to believe it is bad “over there” and not in their own school system, which is called denial. It is as if everyone believed that fast food restaurants are bad and unhealthy, but yet everyone believed their local fast food joint was the rare exception! If the nation's schools are bad, and if everyone everywhere believes so, yet everyone everywhere believes their own schools are fine, and not like the rest, then it follows that everyone everywhere is DELUDED. Either everyone's schools are fine, and thus none are really that bad and everyone is mistaken about everyone else's schools, or everyone is mistaken about their own schools. Either way, this excuse fails miserably.

Objection 2 – Sending children to be 'salt and light' is a failed excuse. It rarely turns out that way. Many studies show that as many as 75 percent of Christian children leave the church when they graduate from public high school. Most Christian students are not evangelising their schools, instead they are enticed to sin, afflicted with doubts and fears, suffer ungodly pressures from not only their peers but teachers and administrators. It is no different than a preacher who went to a strip club every week, and tips the dancers, and who says he is being “salt and light” to the sinners. Nay, who sends his CHILDREN to the strip club to be “salt and light”! Parents who say they need to send their children to public schools to be “salt and light” are simply making excuses for their laziness and apathy in regards to their children's upbringing. This excuse fails miserably.

Objection 3 – Sunday school? 30-45 minutes a week (if that) of supposed religious instruction (which often is really just mindless entertainments) are going to counteract and overthrow 40 hours per week of detailed, well-planned, intentionally antichristian indoctrination, which was specifically designed by psychologists and experts to counteract all that Sunday school and church influence? An indoctrination program which includes such incentives as massive unrelenting peer pressure, quick and easy access to sex and drugs, abortions on demand with no parental notification, free condoms, free instruction in perversions which are taught as great and desirable things to practice, along with unrelenting constant affirmation of lies, a steady unending diet of evolutionary fables, an artificial and well constructed yet wholly isolated environment which pretends God does not exist at all, where God is often actively denigrated? Not to mention the pressure of grades, threat of suspension, academic failure or success depending on one's collusion and cooperation with the ungodly and their ungodly ideologies, the threat of having one's “permanent record” marred for life, one's entire future life being dependent on one's performance in this socialist, humanist, antichristian system? What happens if a child “fails” Sunday school? Compare that to what happens if a child fails public school, and it is clear the amount of influence each will have on the mind and development of the child in comparison to the other. Yet another pathetic, failed excuse.

Objection 4 – Family devotions? Again, how can a few minutes every week, or even every day, counteract the sheer immensity of pressure brought to bear upon a child's mind by the ubiquitous and oppressive anti-God and anti-good public school system? Especially in light of the fact that statistics prove this approach simply does not work – most Christian youth who attend public school LEAVE THE FAITH when they graduate!

Objection 5 – The exception, the child who made it through public school but stayed true to God and remained true to God afterwards? The fact that such people are in fact exceptions proves the point: you are betting against the casino, and the souls of your children – and yours as well – are at stake. The majority of children who play in the middle of the highway get hit by cars. Does the fact that some children have played in the street and yet have not been hit justify sending your child to play in the street? Would you be a good, godly parent for doing so, betting against the odds, gambling on your child's life? No, it's another failed excuse.

Objection 6 – Can't afford private school? But you can afford cable tv, the multiple smart phones, the jet skis, the big screen tv, the restaurants, the extra car, the boat, this hobby and that hobby, the credit cards? You gain the world and lose your own soul. Amazingly, parents can't afford 1000-3000 dollars a year for Christian education, but can mysteriously afford to spend that amount on their kids anyway even with sending them to public school. And if one truly cannot cut any expenses to cover the cost of private Christian education without losing one's home, the lights being turned off, or starving (which would be highly unlikely) then consider homeschooling. Homeschooling is usually much less expensive than hiring a private school or tutor. In fact, homeless single moms have successfully homeschooled their kids. Kids have even homeschooled themselves. One could actually develop a homeschool curriculum that is entirely free using the internet, the local library, or a combination of both. Would you agree to send your child to hell, and yourself with them, because you “didn't have the money” to do otherwise? Most who make this excuse often have never actually sat down and seriously gone over their finances to see if it really was feasible. Thus, most who make this excuse just don't actually want to make the effort to give their children a Christian, Biblical education. Another fail, and the lake of fire still awaits.

Objection 7 – Can't homeschool? Says who? The cost is less than conventional private school. In fact, it could be done for free. Don't know how? You can learn a subject right along with your children. ANYTHING CAN BE DONE IF YOU HAVE THE WILL AND DETERMINATION TO DO IT. This writer and his wife homeschooled seven children, at times while being broke, unemployed, with no vehicle, effectively homeless living in someone else's garage, and when income was available it was a one-income budget. It can be done if you actually want to. And with the proliferation of free materials on the internet to help beginning homeschooling families, there really is NO EXCUSE.

Objection 8 – My state forbids it. We must obey God rather than men. If you won't give your child a Christian, Biblical education, and deliver them out of the hand of the wicked, simply because some evil, godless bureaucrat “disallows” it, then how can you possibly claim to be a Christian? Christian, but only if it doesn't cost time, money, effort, or stress? Another failed excuse, one which satan loves probably more than any other, because it is an admission of cowardice, pure and simple. And the fearful shall have their part in the lake of fire, according to Jesus Christ, in Revelation chapter 21 verse 8.

Re: Public school and the Christian parent

9 All objections being soundly refuted, it follows that parents who send their children to public schools actually do not love them, but truly hate them in their heart.
Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.
Hating your neighbour in your heart is manifested and proven by allowing their sin to stand unrebuked. How much more does this apply to our children? By allowing them to be taught sin, to be actively enticed to sin, by intentionally and willfully putting them into the hands of sinners, by intentionally sinning against them by failing to give them a thoroughly Christian and Biblical education, it shows that we don't love them at all. We feel happy feelings towards them maybe, but we do not love them as God defines love. Making allowances for sin is not love, but hate – hatred of God, hatred of our neighbour. Making allowances for sin, indeed creating opportunities for our children to be enticed to sin, cannot possibly be Biblical love. If not rebuking your neighbour when he sins is declared by God to be hating your neighbour – for which you will definitely burn in the lake of fire unless you repent – then how much more hateful is it to intentionally and willfully toss your children to modern day priests of Moloch to be devoured by ungodliness?
1 John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. (3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Love is demonstrated by obedience to God's commandments. God commands we educate our children with a thoroughly Christian and Biblical education, and commands that we protect them from the wicked. If we love them, we will obey God and ensure their education is Christian and Biblical. If we do not obey God, then we do not love them. It really is that simple.
Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Public education clearly harms our children, not only mentally and emotionally, but spiritually. Knowing this, refusing to withdraw them from such a spiritually abusive environment is refusing to love them. Our children are, after all, our neighbours, too. Hating your neighbour sends you to the lake of fire, as certainly as anything. Those who hate their neighbour are lost, and in danger of hellfire. Repent, love your children, do not suffer sin upon them and do not place them in environments that are designed to entice them into sin, immorality, and unbelief!

10 The responsibility of parents; churches; ministers/teachers; children.
Parents are responsible for raising their children in the paidea of the Lord – a thoroughly and intentionally Christian and Biblical educational regimen. There is no avoiding this responsibility. Parents are directly accountable to God for whatever is taught to their children by anyone hired by the parents to that task, including public schools. You, father and mother, are responsible and accountable for the curriculum that your child is exposed to. If your child is taught lies and immorality and unbelief, YOU will be liable. Parents will answer to God not only for how they personally instruct their children, but also for what they allow their children to be taught by others. Churches are responsible for supporting parents and families in that endeavor by whatever means possible and practicable, but especially by fostering a culture where Christian education is the expected, Biblical norm, and where public education is only a temporary situation that sinners find themselves in from which they are expected to repent. Whenever possible, as far as they are able, churches must make Christian education possible for all members of the local assembly. Whether by teaching parents how to homeschool, or by giving parents access to educational resources, or by establishing a church-run private school system, churches must make Christian education not only ideal, but available. Ministers, teachers, and preachers have the responsibility of making sure everyone is aware of their God-ordained responsibilities. You are obligated to warn parents of the danger of hellfire that awaits unreprented sin, you are obligated to exhort and encourage parents to love their children and raise them Biblically, and to save their children from the snares of the wicked and the unbelieving. You must exhort parents to be aware of the dangers of modern public education, and you must warn them that they sin against God, against their children, and against their own souls if they do not do everything they can to rescue their children from the wicked and the ungodly. As God-ordained watchmen, their blood - and that of their children - will be required of you if you fail to warn them.

And children, if you find your parents won't save you from the ungodly and sinful public school system, then you must covenant with God to abstain from all evil and wickedness, and refuse the lies of the Christ-deniers, and pray for deliverance. You must read and study the Holy Word of God so that you can identify the lies and deceptions that will confront you almost daily. Establish and maintain a close relationship with God through prayer and obedience to the Word. You are in an unfortunate situation. Thankfully, though, if you are resolute to remain faithful to God in the midst of a sea of wickedness, as Joseph was while in Egypt, then you can escape the snare of the devil – if you maintain covenant with God. And pray for your parents, that God will grant them repentance and save them from the hellfire that awaits all who remain unrepentant regardless of their religious affiliations or professions. For it is written, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, AND THY HOUSE.” Acts 16:31

Re: Public school and the Christian parent

I have recently entered a relationship, and although it's in its infancy, the subject of an eventual marriage and where our future children will attend school, as arisen in conversation.

I want a Christian-based school that's structured, disciplined, and doesn't baby the children. As of yet, I haven't found too many that uphold that, however.

As for public school, I'm certainly not for it. I know some parents that have sent their children to public school for them to learn to read, and thereafter bring them home or send them to church-orientated schools.

The options of Christian education for my potential future children, in my opinion, is scarce. Either they baby the children, as I've seen common among Apostolic-aimed Christian centers, while the stricter educational ones might try to sneak in false doctrine that I don't want my children exposed to.

It's something to pray about.

Not sure a one size fits all approach is the best way for children or anyone for that matter to be taught. It hinges too much on the compulsory highly regimented and strict Prussian Educational Model.

I want to be as far removed from that as possible yet I realize that you need to eat the meat and spit out the bones.

Not sure what you meant by "Babying".

Can you kinda give some examples in context maybe?

Homeschooling is superior to other forms because it can be tailored to fit your family. Also cheaper.

I am going to shamelessly recommend something to you and the lady you are courting. I recommend you go to the thread "Planned Destruction of Civilisation" and print out the whole thing and read it together. The title is somewhat of a misnomer, except for the first post the entire thread is devoted to real, practical solutions based on building godly families. I think it will give you two some opportunities to discuss important things in a proper perspective, about what being married is REALLY all about.

I'm not for public school, and my future children will not be attending one.

As for "babying", I realize now that my tossing that in there was vague and would possibly need some explanation. In some Christians schools, but certainly not all, the people in charge seem to take their authority lightly, and therefore the rules, such as discipline, responsibility, punctuality, and an education on par (if not superior) to public school standards.

Babying defined by me: Everything's cute, everyone's a baby, is called a baby, and none of the rules are ever enforced and school is like daycare that's tossed around casually.

In another life I was a public school teacher. For the U.S. of A. it's too late for any turn about. You can thank God there is still an option for home schooling. The whole (spiritual) plan is to destroy the family.
