Pray for my girl, please.

Well, I took my daughter down to LA yesterday to catch a flight to Miami, and then she met up with the Apostolic Youth Corps group today. She just called me to say that she was on the plane and they were headed to Guyana.

Pray for this group that they will be able to be a blessing to the missionaries there, and to the people there as well. My daughter had crammed as much as she could into her luggage to take items off of the missionaries wish list.

Pray for me too, because we will probably only be able to talk once or twice for the ten days she is over there, and we usually are on the phone with each 5 or 6 times a day, and we live together!!

Re: Pray for my girl, please.

Guyana is a great place! I spent 2 months down there in the mid 1990's.

the people are wonderful and if you get to talk to her ask her to find out how Brother Duriswami Vinkatswami is! I would love to hear from him. that guys is unbelieveable!

also tell her to get that recipe for the breakfast dish they make with pumpkin. (its a green pumpkin and some hot peppers....) and Dal pouri....

egads! and those dumplings they put into their soups. I used to make them but have forgotten....

Guyana's food ROCKED!

I know, I am excited for her and jealous at the same time! I skipped over all of this stuff when I was a teenager, so I am very happy that she is getting to experience it!

Was that through the General Youth Division? I know they had more than one trip going on.
