Anyone around here sell much on Ebay? I have several things I am planning on listing there in the next few days and thought I would see if anyone around has had much experience on the selling end.
I used to sell alot. But I don't anymore, the fees seem way to high. By the time you pay all the ebay fees and then the paypal, you really have to sell something at a good price before you make any money from it.
My wife has been selling on there for years. But I don't know anything about selling on there anymore since they changes stuff so often.

I sold a few things recently, had been the first time I'd done it. I do kind of agree unless something sells for a decent price you don't really make anything off of it.
It's very easy to do it though.

I don't know if you would be interested in this. There are consignment ebay stores you may use, if you don't want to bother with it yourself. However, there is yet another fee to be extracted from your sale.

Are you offering Paypal payments?
Anything you want to know in particular?

I've sold a lot on ebay. It used to be better than it is now.
They have lowered the listing fees, raised the final value fees to make up the difference. They've changed the feedback policy. Now if a buyer gets an item and does a chargeback on their credit card through paypal... the seller is out of luck. Paypal will hit their account for the money back-- and the seller will have lost the money and the item they sold. Then with ebay's new feedback policy... the seller can only leave POSITIVE feedback for the buyer.
I don't like that idea at all.
I've got one item listed now on ebay-- but I doubt seriously I'll ever sell on there again like I did until they remove that clause about not being able to leave neg for the buyer if needed.
It hasn't slowed me down on buying on there though. I bought three things yesterday.
