So you lurk because one person posts something you don't agree with?
I'm guessing there's more reason than that. I mostly lurk, partially due to some stuff going on personally, partially due to just not agreeing quite as often as I used to.

Can you honestly say that when you are walking on the street without your wife or daughter with you that you can be picked out as being Apostolic (unless you have a sign on your back)?

Well I don't believe that it is tradition, and i am not trying to change anyone mind. I just can't understand how folk can believe as they do.
A scripture comes to mind.... you would use it to chastise moderates and never think it could speaking into your heart.
Eph. 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being aliented from God from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindnes of their heart.

Ultra Conservatives just can not understand how a moderate or liberal may think they are as wrong as what they think the liberals are wrong.
ALL this standards stuff...long sleeves, no facial hair are not even a blip on God's radar screen of things He's concerned about.
It is sad to me to see people caught up in this trap of "competitive hloiness"
