If you are a pastor, and you truly believe a television is possessed, why would you bring it into the church?

That is a very good question.

Even though it is pretty crazy, aren't you sure that was done as an illustration to make a point? (not playing down the fact that it is crossing the line of crazy).

Brother Coksiw, it was pretty crazy. I’m not sure about the making the point part. He assured me that they taught that every component of the television was possessed. He functioned fairly well in society but he and pretty much all of the church was wacky and proud of it. They had crossed the line from dedicated Christian to cult status in my opinion. Some apostolics seem to compete for the “who can be crazy for Jesus” prize. They cornered the market.

I personally don’t believe Jesus wants a crazy bride. On the other hand I don’t believe in criticizing people for being fervent. We are supposed to have a good report from without. There is a standard that should be met. Their reputation in the community was that they were crazy. It turned out that the community was right.

Anyway . . .

I’m trying to be delicate and still get my point across.

What am I missing here folks?
We began streaming live on FB when COVID hit and the state issued a shut down order last March. We still preach against TV and worldly entertainment.

Not sure what's odd or crazy about it.
