My neighbors daughter had covid symptoms, including fever but three tests came back negative. The forth test was positive.

Another member in our church was also with a fever for two weeks, and coughing. Doctors told him they were convinced he had COVID, but two tests came back negative. He is recovered now.

There was a virus around before COVID that had very similar symptoms as COVID, that my wife and kids had. It includes fever, and persistent cough. The influenza test would come back negative. My wife also did the COVID antibody test and came back negative.
There was/is something else going around that it was not COVID or influenza, but not as deadly.

Another elder in our church got it and had bad pneumonia.
