A Question About Bishop Nathaniel Wilson

I posed this Question in another Thread in the Thad's Tab area with little response. i felt it was worthy of repeating again.

Here is the Question again:
Most of us are aware that Bishop Wilson lost the District Supt. election in California this year. If Bishop Wilson had instead WON the election, would he be involved in the Tulsa meeting? Is that a fair question to ask? Would there still be talks of pulling out of the UPC if he was currently serving as Dist. Supt? Would his son-in-law have pulled out also ?

I think, and that's all anyone can really offer is mad, wild speculation... I think that if he had been elected DS the responsibilities of that office would have weighed upon his heart when making any other decision. Without those responsibilities, he may feel "free" to do what he might not have done otherwise.

In other words, with NW, I don't think it's all "sour grapes." He's a complex guy, not some simple "either this or I'm outta here!" sort.

I don't know about "tied up" so much as "Now I'm responsible and can't go out with the boys." Grown up?
