So said registry is attempted. How is it created? Based on self-reporting?

Who will be charged with safe guarding the information?

When another terror attack happens, will having the list be truly beneficial?

Will having the list stop attacks or ostracize innocent people?

What will this list be used for?

How do we guarantee that if there is an actual lawful use for such a list, the list is not abused or misused for other nefarious goals?

We already have plenty of registries.

There is a registry for people who drive.
There is a registry for people in college.
There is a registry for people in the military.

This is just another registry like the many that already exist.

will you refuse to drive with a driver license because you fear who has access to the drivers' registry?

I propose keeping any group out of America that wants to destroy And attack America. We have a right to keep non citizens out of this country for any reason we want.

However we have a responsibility to keep people out that want to harm other citizens.

If we have to keep Muslim extrimists out by keeping some muslims out that aren't extremists then I am okay with that.

The moment christian extremists start acting like Muslim extrimists we can discuss keeping christian immigrants out of America. But christians don't act the same way in the name of their god so we don't have any worries. And when one does he is condemned by all christians everywhere.

JD - there has been a registration system in place since 9/11. Unfortunately, obama has decided to play politics with national security and just recently ordered it shut down to try and thwart Trump's plans.

JD - we have no way of knowing what the"list" entails at this moment.
The government has had most of this information on all foreigners entering the country, anyway.
Insofar as to rooted in prejudice and bigotry, no, it is more rooted in our disgust at those we let into this country seeking to destroy our citizens.
