Question For A Friend?

Are there degrees of punishment and rewards in the hereafter?

Yep. People who knew not will be beaten with few stripes and people who knew much beaten with many.

Lake of Fire doesn't sound like just a beating.

Re: Question For A Friend?

Death would be the greatest degree of punishment.

I think the degree of punishment translates over.

Re: Question For A Friend?

ok so here is my question.

why did Jesus say "better a mill stone be tied around your neck than for you to hurt one of these.."

seems when it comes to kids, Jesus warned of a viciousness in return...

Re: Question For A Friend?

I always had a hard time understanding that question Elder Epley, but one thing is for certain, I do not even want to know what the lightest punishment is for Hell & the Lake of Fire!
Everlasting torments (Jesus description) is not my cup of tea!
