Nope...remember I'm a heathen in church clothing.

And y'all Pentecostals sing strange songs I didn't hear growing up.

LOL

Its something like...

Send up Judah
Send up Judah
For everything he has done
Every victory he has won
Send him praise

Those words are probably very off but thats what I remember and thats not sayin a lot right now

but with the beat and the speed of the song.. it sounds exactly like send up tuna!

We did this song...LOL!!! But it never was one of my favorites, simply because...when I first heard it, I had no clue what the lyrics meant, despite growing up in church. So how would we expect visitors to know that it means "Send up praise?" (Unless the worship leader is going to give a short sermonette on the meaning of the song every time its used.)

It does have a cool beat, melody and arrangement, which is probably the only reason its been used at all. I think we did it 2-3 times, and never brought it out again.

Judah being the "Lion of the tribe of Judah"?

No, Judah meaning "praise." It's a bit of a stretch.

I was a praise singer at a church where the leader thought this was THE song to sing. The congregation never got it....actually I don't think the praise singer did either. But we had to sing it and sing it and sing it. FINALLY, they gave up. Thank the good Lord. I know that Judah means praise but why on earth can't the song say send up praise?
